How to plan a month on Instagram

Mix the formats in one file

The postType column sets each post: photo, carousel, reel, story or grid. Leave it empty and Mydrop picks the type that fits the media.

Give Saturday a slot

On Mydrop, Instagram posts on Saturday earned 6% more than the account's typical post, and Sunday 3% less. Weekdays sat level.

Keep the night empty

Instagram posts published between midnight and 6 am earned 36% less (90 posts). Morning, afternoon and evening did the same.

Example: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday on Instagram in November 2026 = 17 posts, 17 rows in the Mydrop CSV
