Add the calls, website clicks, directions, messages and bookings from the Performance tab, divide by the profile views for the same period, and multiply by 100. 281 actions on 2,850 views is 9.86%.

How Google Business Profile engagement works
Count customer actions
Calls, website clicks, directions, messages and bookings: the actions the Performance tab lists, each one a customer taking a step toward the business.
Divide by profile views
Views count the people who saw the profile on Google Search and Maps, each person once per day. That is the audience that could act.
Add the actions yourself
Performance also shows a total called Interactions, but Google does not list what it includes. Adding the actions yourself gives a number you can explain to a client.
Example: “A month with 2,850 profile views, 64 calls, 118 website clicks, 92 directions and 7 messages” = 9.86% of viewers took an action

Every Google Business Profile number, and where to find it
What each number in the Performance tab means, and how the formula uses it.
| Number | What Google counts | In the formula |
|---|---|---|
| Views | People who viewed the profile on Search and Maps, once per day | Divide by it |
| Calls | Taps on the call button | Counted |
| Website clicks | Clicks on the website link | Counted |
| Directions | Direction requests, repeats and cancellations filtered out | Counted |
| Messages | Separate conversations started | Counted |
| Bookings | Bookings made through a booking provider | Counted |
| Searches | The search terms that showed the profile, updated monthly | Not used |
Google counts a person once per day in Views and filters repeat direction taps, cancellations and spam, so these numbers sit closer to real customers than a social post's impressions.

Questions
Google Business Profile engagement, answered
Search for your business on Google, open your profile and choose Performance, then pick the period. In the Google Maps app, go to Business, then See more next to Performance.
Google shows a total called Interactions without listing what it includes. The Performance tab lists calls, messages, bookings, directions and website clicks separately, which is what this calculator adds.
Mydrop does not publish a benchmark yet. Compare each location with itself month over month, and locations with each other inside the same brand.
Google now filters repeat taps, cancellations and spam out of direction requests, so the count is closer to real visits.
