How Threads engagement rate works
Count four interactions
Likes, replies, reposts and quotes. A quote is a repost with your own words added, so it counts once, as a quote.
Divide by views
Threads Insights reports views for posts, not reach. Views are the people the post was shown to, the audience that could have reacted.
Threads shows no rate
Threads Insights shows the counts but no engagement rate. Interactions divided by views, times 100, is the formula Mydrop uses for Threads.
Example: “A post with 3,600 views, 140 likes, 22 replies, 9 reposts and 4 quotes” = 4.86% engagement rate by views
