How to write a Facebook report clients read

Use the posts' reach

Meta Business Suite lists each post's reach (Viewers). Add them up for the month: the Page's own monthly reach counts each person once.

Report link clicks next to the rate

For many Pages, link clicks are the point. Keep them out of the engagement rate and show them on their own line.

Judge Facebook against Facebook

On Mydrop, the median Facebook Page post earned 1.11% of its reach, against 3.08% on Instagram. Facebook simply runs lower.

Example: Followers 15,300 to 15,420, reach 42,000, 520 reactions and comments = +0.78% followers and a 1.24% engagement rate, above the 1.11% median

Where each number lives in Facebook's analytics, checked on October 11, 2026.
