Your tagged links
GA4: Organic SocialPaste a link to see it tagged for each network.
Let every link tag itself
Mydrop adds your UTM tags to every link in a caption while a campaign runs, and can shorten the link to count clicks.
Your links stay in your browser. Nothing is sent or saved.
How to tag Bluesky links
The full link is kept
Bluesky stores each link in full, with no shortener. The app may shorten what it shows, but the tagged link is what opens.
Links count toward 300
Unlike X, Bluesky has no fixed link weight: the link counts toward the post's 300 characters. Keep tags short, such as utm_campaign=launch.
GA4 needs utm_medium=social
bluesky is not on GA4's list of social sites. Tag every link with utm_medium=social or the visits land outside Organic Social.
Example: A Bluesky post linking to a launch page = https://example.com/launch?utm_source=bluesky&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=launch
Link rules checked on October 11, 2026, against Bluesky's open protocol.

Where links work on Bluesky, and how to tag them
Every place a link can sit on Bluesky, whether people can tap it, and the tag to give it.
| Where the link sits | Clickable? | Tag to add |
|---|---|---|
| Post text | Clickable, full link kept | utm_medium=social |
| Replies | Clickable | utm_content=reply |
| Profile website | Shown on the profile | utm_content=profile |
Mydrop's short links (mydrp.link) keep Bluesky posts short: Mydrop counts the clicks and passes the campaign's UTM tags to the destination.
