How to size images for Pinterest
2:3 is the standard
1000 × 1500 pixels is the size Pinterest recommends. It takes a tall slot in the feed without being cut.
Taller may be cut off
Pinterest says Pins taller than 2:3 may be cut off in the feed. If your design is longer, split it into a carousel.
Up to 20 MB per image
Pinterest takes images up to 20 MB on the web. Carousels hold 2 to 5 images, all the same size.
Example: “A 4,032 × 3,024 landscape photo for a standard Pin” = a 2,016 × 3,024 vertical crop, saved at 1,000 × 1,500
