How to size images for LinkedIn
LinkedIn shows post images from 3:1 to 4:5, up to 20 photos, 5 MB each. A 1080 × 1350 portrait takes the most room; anything taller is cropped.
Two banners, two sizes
A personal profile banner is 1584 × 396 (4:1). A Company Page cover is 1512 × 256, according to LinkedIn Help. Do not reuse one for the other.
Links bring their own image
A shared link shows its page's preview image at 1200 × 627. Set it on your own website so every post of the link looks right.
Example: “A 4,032 × 3,024 photo for a LinkedIn profile banner” = a 4,032 × 1,008 crop, saved at 1,584 × 396
